Taiwan manufacturer to ship Verizon iPhone 4 in time for Christmas

June 21, 2010

Pegatron Technology, a electronics manufacturer located in Taiwan, is currently building iPhone 4 phones that use CDMA not GSM.  CDMA is the technology used on the Verizon network in the United States.  According to sources the CDMA iPhone 4′s will be shipped sometime in Q4 2010. Pegatron manufacturers a number of electronic devices such as laptops, workstations, cable modems, cable TV boxes, game consoles, plus much more.

Another interesting bit of news is that the company will be listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (equivalent to the New York Stock Exchange) on the very day the iPhone 4 will be released in the United States and seven other countries, June 24th.

So, it appears that Verizon will have iPhone 4 phones in time for the Black Friday.  Many people could be receiving an iPhone in their Christmas stocking.
